Biographically

Since 2006, Class Action has helped keep Calgary’s ska scene alive with a blend of music rooted in third wave ska-punk with shades of reggae and dub mixed in. Having shared the stage with such acts as Bedouin Soundclash, Ill Scarlet, The English Beat, Mad Caddies, The Planet Smashers, Gob, The Flatliners, and The Aggrolites, they have become known for their high energy performances and beats that make you want to dance! 2007 saw the release of their first EP, “I’d Rather Be Skankin” followed by a contribution to the Ska 4 Life Compilation series in 2009. In June 2010, they released their self-titled first full length album. In July of 2011, Class Action embarked on their first ever tour, the 2011 Skapocalypse Tour with fellow Calgary band Blue Bones playing 9 shows in 11 days in BC and Alberta.
